ABOUT NATA

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). The test measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of Architectural study.

The test is based on drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and visualization that students are learning from childhood related to Architecture.

The test also measures critical thinking ability, that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of Architectural study.

For B.Arch

12th. Science Commerce Minimum 50% marks

Or. Diploma in architecture or civil. With minimum 50% marks Candidates having 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with mathematics as one of the subject, only are eligible for admission to B.Arch. Course.

The test contains 2 sections.

Section 1 is paper based Drawing test.

It has 3 questions.

(50 marks +25 marks+25 marks = Total of 100 marks).

Test duration 2 hours 10 min

Section 2 is online computer based test on aesthetic sensitivity for 100 marks.

Test Duration 1 hour.
